the old corner church Traditional Cache
caretaker5: when I saw the log about the cache home moving I hot-footed it over here before the cache home and cache disappeared, since it's inventory says it's home to a travel bug. I did beat the moving truck and quickly had the cache in my hand but a check of it did not produce that travel bug. thanks to all who found and enjoyed this cache, and I have no plans for a new cache at the new home of the old corner church so it should be considered free and open to anyone who may wish to hide a cache there.

i was in marshallville the other night doing some maintenance. after that was complete i had other errands to run as well. on those travels i went down a road i hadn't been on in some time, and it got me thinking about expansion of my marshallville series again.
i decided to expand my marshallville series to the cemetery around the corner. since it's a little out of the way of my other hides i found this spot nearby to make this little side trip a two for one stop. well almost, my two hides are not at the same location but they are pretty close together. that also brings my recent expansion to three new caches. to try and make it worth the effort to come back to marshallville if you have found all my other hides in town, and want to have it a smiley city on your map again.
at this location you will find an old church. it is not used anymore. i have never seen a car in the small lot. i'm sure the cache home is not used anymore. in fact the only paper to be found is the log sheet i left.
there is a gravel pull off parking area on fox lake rd, but it's not very big, there might be room for maybe 3 or 4 cars parked carefully. so when there was a congregation, it must have been a small one. while here you might want to watch out for large farm machinery. just down coalbank road is a huge corporate dairy farm. they are often going up and down these roads.
at this location you will be looking for a small peanut butter jar. so there is room for trade items, i'm not sure what i have in my bag of goodies to get it started, but i'll find something. please bring your own writing implement as well. lets keep this one daylight hours only out of respect for it's former use.
