Geocache Description:


“The Old Giant” cache was one of the first ones Fancy Free placed back in 2007. In 2011, the big, black stump that housed the cache was destroyed --- or so we thought --- and we permanently archived it. So, imagine how happy we were to discover that “The Old Giant” had actually been downsized and moved about a half mile to enhance some new landscaping at the North County Recreation District sports complex.
The new cache is NOT inside the stump and is accessible without climbing on the rocks. DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT climb onto or into the landscaping.
