The tall trees you see here with the slightly yellowy bark are Sugar Gums.
Originating in South Australia, they have been transplanted to other areas, including Central Victoria.
Hard wearing and finishing in a lovely ginger-orange colour, the timber is often used for furniture, flooring and decking.
