As you will be aware you are now in the Back Paddock.
Occasionally the gates will be locked for Parks Victoria Works.
If the gates are locked please write a note and not a DNF in your log.
You should already be well aware that the geological base for the Woodlands area is granite rock - there are plenty of outcroppings around for you to see.
This rock is generally very hard, and consequently rounded in shape, although sometimes weathering can do strange things.
Large outcrops at the south end of Wilsons Promontory, or on Kangaroo Island, are well-known examples of this.
This cache was originally in a strange hole in a large boulder. However it kept on being souvenired by the local animals so we had to move it.
This cache is part of the Woodlands 100 Series.
For important information on this series please see Woodlands 100
Except for DNF's or Notes, please put any general comments about
this series on the Final Cache - Woodlands 100.
