Geocache Description:


This is an excellent vantage point to view the new Control Tower being built at Tullamarine Airport.
At 79 metres in height, it will be almost twice as high as the existing tower, which was built with the original airport in the 1960's.
For added strength, the concrete for the new tower was poured in one continuous operation.

It will undoubtedly be equipped with ultra-modern equipment, to help ensure the efficient running of airport traffic.
