Geocache Description:

The rock is one of the best of the viewing points in the park.

From here you have commanding views of both runways at Tullamarine Airport, and you could easily spend a lot of time watching take-offs and landings.

Check out the survey mark at the top of the rock and the information sign on the SW side of the rock which was placed in September 1998 and describes the local area and it's history.

The cache is placed next to a small nectarine tree that has battled the odds, and has probably grown from the result of a discarded seed from someone's snack as they sat upon the rock.
