Mullum Mullum Creek has become a bit of a Boomerang place for us place for us since starting geocaching and we decided we just had to show you the latest spot we discovered!
Conditions have changed immensely in the 7.5 years since we placed the cache, the area has overgrown substantially in that time and therefore we have updated the Difficulty and Terrain Ratings to reflect this at May 2019. Prior to this there was a beach at the river! Highly recommended parking is at Mullum Mullum Reserve on Springvale Rd Donvale at S37 45.985 E 145 11.081
Following the higlighted track pictured below; join the track at the car park, walking away from GZ until you come to a junction. Take this juction and follow the track along and then cross the bridge. Once you have crossed the bridge follow the track until you reach GZ.
Approaching GZ from this direction will take you along a lovely track including some areas of boardwalk taking you through many different types of flora.
99% of the walk is terrain 1.5. The last 20-30 metres are where the terrain rating come in to effect! There are now tracks at the bottom so there is again now 2 approaches to GZ. 1) Descend at bridge and walk towards the river, once almost there you will see a geotrail to your left, follow this to GZ OR 2) Stay up top, walk to GZ and descend to GZ from above collecting Faith on the way.

The cache is an approximately 300ml container with the usual logbook and swaps etc

Watch the kids near GZ... the creek is a bit deep in 1 or 2 places but there are plenty of shallow spots which are heaps of fun to explore under supervision! :-)
