Geocache Description:

As you will be aware you are now in the Back Paddock. Occasionally the gates will be locked for Parks Victoria Works. If the gates are locked please write a note and not a DNF in your log. The kangaroo is a marsupial endemic to Australia.

At Woodlands Park, you will find an extensive colony of the Eastern Grey variety. The Eastern Grey is easy to recognise: its soft coat is distinctive. Its eyes seem large and wide open. Did you know that the highest speed ever recorded of an Eastern Grey Kangaroo was 64 km per hour?

This cache is part of the Woodlands 100 Series.
