Kirkwood Park Sugarberry Tree Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Strider: Well, after 207 finds this cache is done. The tree was taken down a while back and now the frnce the cache was hidden on is gone too. Thank you everybody for finding my cache and all of the nice logs. The park department gathered up seeds from the tree before it was taken out, maybe in a year or two we will see some saplings planted here.

Geocache Description:

This great tree is a sugarberry tree, also called a hackberry. It has recently been declared the champion sugarberry of the state and a fence has been erected around it. I used to have a cache hidden on the tree, but this one is about 42' away at a bearing of 224 degrees. It is a bison tube hidden like another one in the area, please hide it back where I placed it. Muggles might be a problem, be discrete. It is also handicap accessible most of the time, just a short level way across the grass.
