Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the small woodland area of Victoria Park in Widnes.
Victoria Park opened in 1900 to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria. The park has seen many changes since its original design by William Barrow. For more detailed information on the history and modern usage of the park, please refer to cache site
"Victoria Park".

The cache is a small black tub containing small toy animals and a log book (sorry no pen included). Please feel free to trade items.
Parking is readily available on Fairfield Rd which runs the full length of the Eastern side of the park
The park itself is wheelchair friendly but the woodland area is loose wood/bark underfoot. Opening times are pretty much dawn 'til dusk.
The park attendants patrol regularly wearing Hi-Vis jackets. They are very approachable, and can be found in their office adjacent to the cafe when not patrolling. They will be happy to answer any questions regarding the park, its amenities and forthcoming events.
