How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Had a bunch of containers that I really wanted to get rid of. I use this trail quite often and it was barren of caches except for a few places. All of the caches are smalls and micros and just right off the trail.

Letterboxing is another form of treasure hunting using clues instead of coordinates. In some cases, the letterbox owner has made their container both a letterbox and a geocache and posted its coordinates on Geocaching.com. If there is a stamp inside a Letterbox Hybrid, it is not an item intended for trade; the stamp is meant to remain in the box so that visitors can use it to record their visit.

For All Letterboxers: Once you have found the cache, please stamp the Letterboxing logbook with your stamp, and stamp your book with the stamp provided in the cache.

DO NOT take rubber stamp (or inkpad)! Please leave them in the cache container.

More information can be found about letterboxing at (visit link)

For all letterboxers, here are your directions:
From the CWT (Chehalis Western Trail)between mile marker 17 and 16.5 about the length of a football field-ish from the corner of the horse pen south towards a patch of trees. Container is a regular lock n lock container used for cereal and it is hidden underneath a pile of sticks.
