Geocache Description:

You are looking for a micro/nano. This is not my first cache of this style, and definitely not the only one out there like it. Should be a nice park and grab for the more experienced cachers, and a little trickier for those new to the hobby. Please replace as found. Good luck and have fun!

The movie: Das Boot is an adaption of the 1973 German novel of the same name by Lothar-Günther Buchheim. Set during World War II, the film tells the fictional story of U-96 and its crew. It depicts both the excitement of battle and the tedium of the fruitless hunt, and shows the men serving aboard U-boats as ordinary individuals with a desire to do their best for their comrades and their country.

The boot: I'm not even sure how long this boot has been here, but it has been used as a landmark since I moved here 12 years ago. Oddly enough, if it ever goes away I'm not sure it would be noticed by most because of the growth in the area. What used to be the most noticed thing around has become the least noticed.
