Geocache Description:

This is a simple 35mm film canister, very easy to find. Log-book only, no goodies, please bring a pen. Access is easy but expect a long walk from wherever you start. If you choose to take a bicycle, be aware that you will need to lift it over the points of access to foot-paths (and you should not ride the bicycle on the site).

Lowbury Hill is close to the county boundary between Berkshire and Oxfordshire. The sign says this is one of the highest points in Berkshire, but I think the peak is actually in Oxfordshire. Certainly one can see a long way from here, and it can be windy at times.

There are many references to Roman, Bronze and Iron Age earthworks here... if you're interested, ask Google!

This cache celebrates my oldest daughter's 25th birthday.
