FroggyBearReviewer: Od ownera sme, žiaľ, nedostali sme žiadnu odozvu na žiadosti o údržbu a obnovu kešky. Preto tento listing teraz archivujem. V mene všetkých jej nálezcov - ďakujem ownerovi za zážitky, ktoré nám priniesla.

Ak po tvojej keške zostali v teréne nejaké zvyšky, prosím o ich odstránenie. Súčasťou hry Geocaching je aj zásada "Leave no trace" - nezanechať po sebe žiadne stopy, ktoré by mohli byť vnímané ako negatívny zásah do životného prostredia.

SGF: Seria GEMERSKYCH kostolov so stredovekymi FRESKAMI

Series from GEMER region - churches with medieval FRESCOES

Kostol, zasvateny Vsetkym svatym, najdete na svahu nad obcou, obkoleseny je kamennym murom, zo zadnej strany sa k nemu pripaja cintorin. V polovici 13. storocia tu postavili jednoduchy jednolodovy kostolik s obdlznikovou svatynou. V 17. storoci okolie ohradili kamennym murom, v ktorom dodnes uvidite male strielne. Sucastou murovanej ohrady je veza – zvonica – ktora je zaroven i vstupnou branou do kostolneho arealu. Pre pohodlnejsi pristup neskor prestresili schodisko medzi vezou a kostolom – dnes je tu kryta chodba, otvorena do stran. Na zaciatku 20. storocia kostolik vyhorel, ale opravili ho a pouzivali este niekolko desatroci. Dnes v kostole nie je zariadenie – nakolko sa uz dlhsie nepouziva, jeho mobiliar premiestnili do kostola v Niznej Slanej a na faru do Gemerskej Polomy. Skusobne sondy vsak na niektorych miestach odkryli zvysky stredovekej vymalby, zatial vsak nie je restauratorsky vyskum ukonceny. O technicky stav kostola sa stara obec, ktora spolu s aktivistami planuje v kostoliku vytvorit informacne stredisko pre kulturnu turistiku po pamiatkach stredovekeho Gemera.

The church, dedicated to the All Saints, is located on a slope above the village, surrounded by a stone-wall, with a cemetery from the back side. In the middle of the 13th century a simple one-nave church was built with a rectangular presbytery. Since the 17th century the area was protected by the stone-wall, where the tiny shooting loops are still visible. To the wall belongs a tower – the belltower – which serves as an entrance gate to the church area. For more comfortable access the stairs between the tower and the church portal got a roofing, opened to both sides. At the beginning of the 20th century the church was damaged by fire, but later repaired and used for some more decades. Today there is no furnishing inside because the building is not used any more – the altars and other valuable mobile parts were moved to the church in Nizna Slana and to the parish in the nearby Gemerska Poloma. Some research sonds proved rests of medieval wall-paintings on the walls, but the restoration research is not completed yet. The Municipality takes care of the church and together with an NGO there is an attempt to establish in this church an information centre for the cultural tourism, focused on the medieval heritage in the Gemer region.
