This cache is located in Francis Park, a 60 acre park in the
city neighborhood of St. Louis Hills. The park is wonderful for
visitors and those who play sports. It includes playgrounds, water
fountains, and restrooms. There are tennis, racquetball, and
handball courts, as well as baseball diamonds. The park is nearly a
rectangle, and one lap around the perimeter is 1.2 miles. It seems
like there are always runners or walkers going around the park when
I am there. There are churches on all four corners. The park also
has nice gardens, stone bridges, and a wonderful lily pond. There
also are a couple of other caches nearby, as well as one or two
favorite places to eat ice cream or frozen custard.
You are looking for a small cache that isn't child friendly. You
need to bring your own pen to sign the log. I admire this cache,
and it is one I really look up to. Happy caching, and enjoy another
beautiful St Louis park!
