Geocache Description:

There is no trail leading to this cache. Instead you will follow a long-ago-abandoned irrigation flume that was once used by the Southeast Kelowna Irrigation District. You can walk right in the flume itself, and in fact that's the idea since it leads right to the cache and will be easier than walking alongside it.

Start your hike at N 49° 50.103' W 119° 20.694'.

The moss covered cement flume winds its way through the bush along the hillside. Some sections are heavily overgrown and you will need to do some bushwacking, ducking, and possibly even crawling under branches. Some sections of the flume have quite a bit of deadfall piled up in them so watch your step as to hike to the cache. I've set the terrain difficulty based on the need to do some bushwacking and to climb out of the flume at ground zero. Otherwise, it's fairly level ground.

Once you're close to ground zero, and have climbed out of the flume, you will be treated to an amazing view of the surrounding hills including the back of Layer Cake Mountian and the Gallagars Canyon pinnacle, AKA Pillar Assault.
