[PL] [O budynku] Dom pod Orlami przy ulicy Jasnej 1 powstal w latach 1912-1917 dla Banku Towarzystw Spóldzielczych wg planów Jana Heuricha jr.
Gmach zdobia rzezby i plaskorzezby Zygmunta Otto: orly na wiezach i cykl "Prace na wsi": Siewca, Kobieta wiazaca snopy, Kosiarz, Kowale. W 1923 r. fasada wylozona zostala trybowana blacha miedziana przez firme Zelezinskiego. Podczas powstania warszawskiego budynek zostal powaznie zniszczony, choc zelbetowa konstrukcja pozwolila duzo zachowac.
Po wojnie gmach odbudowano w latach 1948-1950 wedlug projektu wybitnej architekt, Barbary Brukalskiej w nieco zmienionej formie. Zostal rozbudowany w kierunku ulicy Sienkiewicza (zajal powierzchnie po zniszczonym w czasie wojny Teatrze Nowoczesnym), usunieto metalowe plyty Zelezinskiego, a wejscie glówne przeniesiono z prawego naroznika na srodek fasady.

[EN][Bulding] House under the Eagles at Jasna street was built between 1912-1917 for the Cooperative Societies Bank, according to the plans of John Heurich jr. The building is decorated with sculptures and bas-reliefs of Sigismund Otto: eagles on the towers and a series of works in the countryside: Sower, binding sheaves Woman, Reaper, Blacksmiths. In 1923, the facade lined with copper sheet boned by Zelezinskiego.
During the Warsaw Uprising the building was seriously damaged, although the reinforced concrete structure has enabled many to keep.
After war, the edifice was rebuilt in 1948-1950, designed by outstanding architect, Barbara Brukalska in slightly altered form: structure was enlarged in the direction of the street Sienkiewicz, and took the area after during in the war Modern Theatre, most metal plates instaled in 1924 was removed, and the main entrance was moved from the right corner to the center of bulding.
