Little Lumber On The Move.
| It's that time of year again, when nominally sane people bundle
themselves and optional kids into the car and head up Summit or
Bear Creek Roads to seek a small pine to adorn their living room.
These become some of the fastest trees on Earth, going down the
road for some distances before coming to rest. |
| Professor Balthazar Muir had a theory on this, back in the
early days of California, but he didn't write it down and nobody
can seem to remember it. |
| Cars move quickly along here, so take care approaching the
cache pull-out and never perform a U turn here to get there.
There's some space down the road in either direction for turning
around. |
