Geocache Description:

Little Lumber On The Move.

It's that time of year again, when nominally sane people bundle themselves and optional kids into the car and head up Summit or Bear Creek Roads to seek a small pine to adorn their living room. These become some of the fastest trees on Earth, going down the road for some distances before coming to rest.
Professor Balthazar Muir had a theory on this, back in the early days of California, but he didn't write it down and nobody can seem to remember it.
Cars move quickly along here, so take care approaching the cache pull-out and never perform a U turn here to get there. There's some space down the road in either direction for turning around.
