El caché es trova en un antic camp d'aviació de la guerra civil, prop de la carretera L-303.

The cache is located on an old airfield in the Civil War near the road L-303.

Entrada al refugi antiaèri

Durant la Guerra Civil ( 1936-1939 ) L’aviació militar de Catalunya va planificar la construcció d’una xarxa de petits aerodroms. El Camp d’aviació de L’Aranyó, va adscriures al tercer sector de la Regió Aèria catalana. Les obres de construcció van començar l’any 1937 i van durar uns set o vuit messos. L’aerodrom tenia planta irregular, amb dues pistes que es creuaven de 1.100 metres x 200 metres la que anava de nord a sud i de 900 metres x 200 metres la que anava d’est a oest. Al sud de les pistes hi havia 3 edificis, estació radiotelegráfica i, davant seu, un refugi amb capacitat per a 130 persones. Estava preparat per a una escuadreta de caces.

Aquest aerodrom era del tipus trampa i també era conegut com a aerodrom de Cervera.

A la veïna pòblació d’Agramunt també sen va construïr un de semblant

During the Civil War (1936-1939) The military aviation of Catalonia was planning to build a network of small airfields. The aviation field of Aranyó, it affiliate the third sector of the Catalan Region Air. The construction began in 1937 and lasted about seven or eight months. Airfield ground was uneven, with two tracks that crossed 1,100 meters x 200 meters which was from north to south and 900 meters x 200 meters which was east to west. South of the tracks there were 3 buildings, radiotelegraph station and, infront of them, a shelter for up to 130 people. It was prepared for a squadron fighter.

This type of Aerodrom was “cheating” and was also known as Cervera airfield.

In the neighboring town of Agramunt also built a similar one.
