Another traditional cache hidden along a ridge line in Danville.
Ridges, we love 'em. Danville has some great ones. We love the
steep hikes, the exhilaration of getting to the top, and the views
that you find when you get there.
This cache is up in the Sycamore Valley Open Space, along with
several other caches in the area. Technically, this ridge is called
"Short Hills" according to our topo, but after hiking up them from
the valley, you will agree there is nothing short about them. We've
always thought it as Sycamore Ridge. Great trails up here, great
views, lots of different paths to take, not easy to get bored. Lot
of ways to get up here too -- take your pick. We came up from
Sycamore Valley Sports Park down below... another soccer
game!!
This cache is wedged in between several other caches, along the
fence line very near the top of the park. Container started with
some Thive-Time shwag. Hike lots, climb more, Thrive!
