This is a cache that will take you along the beach and dunes running between Irvine and Barassie.
This part of the beach runs south from Irvine harbour to Barassie and stopping just short of Troon harbour. It is approx. 3 miles in length.
The cache is hidden amongst the many dunes that offer some protection to the golf courses that run down the coast.
High tide should not cause any problems, but it is always worthwhile knowing when the low and high tides are just in case - (visit link)
Parking coords are offered at both ends of the beach. From Irvine it is approx. 1.25 miles to the cache and from Barassie it is approx. 1.7 miles to the cache.
