Fireworks Hill is where the residents of Bower gather on the last night of “Westerner Days” to watch the fireworks display. This low hill serves as a sound deflector (?) between the Red Deer Community of Bower and the Delburne Highway &/or the Westerner Grounds. The fireworks mark the return to peace and quiet in the community after the weeklong festivities of “Westerner Days” held annually around the third week in July.
