Une cache sur le chemin du belvédère du pic d'Arraing de K-Gire en l'honneur de Vyvy-Cagire et de "C", des Géo-Trouve-Tout, SANS GPS !;-)), amoureux des sommets. Merci de leur laisser la FTF ! :-))

Cette cache vous fera visiter une ancienne carrière de marbre, découverte lors de notre propre randonnée vers le pic. Elle nous a semblé bien mériter une cache ... et il se trouvait que nous avions une boîte dans notre sac ! Nous vous proposons donc une petite pause dans votre ascension pour visiter cet endroit qui nous a séduit, tant par sa spécificité que par sa position dans la montagne et le point de vue qu'il offre.

ATTENTION : si vous venez avec des enfants, les plateformes et escaliers n'ont pas de garde-fou et les chutes sont possibles !

Départ d'Uchentein. Garez vous à côté de l'église. Marchez 100m jusqu'au calvaire (petite Vierge à l'intérieur). Le chemin vers la carrière de marbre et le Pic d'Arraing est marqué en jaune.
Comptez une marche d'environ 20-30mn pour arriver à la carrière. Au départ, la montée est raide, mais s'adoucit par la suite.
Après avoir trouvé le trésor, reprenez votre marche vers le pic. Un peu plus haut, sur votre droite, vous verrez une petite cabane d' ardoises sèches enfermée derrière des barrières.

Comptez en tout 1h30 -2h heure de marche pour arriver en haut du Pic d'Arraing, en passant par le refuge du berger, sur le tour du Biros. Dites bonjour aux moutons que vous ne manquerez pas de rencontrer!

This cache will show you an ancient marble quarry, discovered during our own hike to the peak. It did seem to deserve a cache ... and it happened that we had a box in our bag! We therefore propose a break in your ascension to visit this place that appealed to us, both by its specific position in the mountains and its fantastic view.

WARNING: if you come with children, platforms and stairs have no railing and it is very easy to fall!

Departure from Uchentein. Park your car next to the church. Walk about 100m to the Calvary (small Virgin inside). The path to the marble quarry and the Arraing Peak is marked in yellow.
Count about 20-30mn's walk to reach the quarry. At the start, the climb is steep, but it softens after a while.
After finding the treasure, go on walking to the peak. A little further on your right you will see a small hut of dry slates behind wires.

Count a total of 1h30-2h hours' walk to reach the top of the Arraing Peak, walking past the shepherd's hut on the tour of Biros. Say hello to the sheep you are sure to meet!
