Who wants to look at 10' high, boring, blue construction walls for a couple of years? Not the Art students from SJSU's Dirty Brushes Club. They saw not walls, but a long, blank canvass. In collaboration with the Art and Art History Departments, "Better Than BLUE" spruces up the walls surrounding the huge Student Union extension project. The paintings are all remarkable reproductions of famous 16th - 20th century artist self-portraits.
These art students certainly have a huge amount of talent. Their creations really fun look at, and you can try to guess which famous artist is represented in each portrait
