Celebratory Hori

Come to Hori Bay to enjoy the bay, the rock pools, the sea caves
and the views. You can ignore DOC's recommendation that you use a
4WD to come here. As long as the road is dry you can get here
without a single white knuckle incident.
If geocaching isn't the be-all-and-end-all of your life, pick a
nice day, not at high tide, and then you can also bring your
fishing gear, canoe and/or picnic for a relaxing time :)
In the 2nd major crevice on the east side of the beach (start
counting once you are on the rocks), if you enter it about
half-way, you will see quite a amazing natural "pool" of "pink"
water. I wish I could have left the cache there.
While there you can spot baby crayfish, blue cod, medium sized
crabs and star fish.
(The cache isn't tidal)
