We camped at Chookarloo (Kuitpo Forest Reserve) and decided to put a cache nearby.
Park at the Chookarloo picnic ground and walk to the cache along the Chookarloo trail which leads from the parking area across a small wooden bridge. Please DO NOT park on the main road and try to cross the fence.
There are some lovely walking trails in this area and they're well marked and very accessible.
There is no entry fee to the picnic ground unless you are camping. If you want to camp there, permits are available at the Kuitpo ranger station a couple kilometres away. Toilets & small shelters with picnic tables are available.
