We umm-ed and ahh-ed for ages about a possible location for this one but finally found what we think is a good spot.
Located within the Kuitpo Forest Reserve at Chookarloo campground. Watch your step while getting to GZ due to uneven surface and lots of grass and fallen tree-bark. Also note that this can be muggle city on weekends.
No entry fee applies to this area unless you intend to camp overnight, in which case permits are available at a very modest cost from the Kuitpo ranger station a couple of kilometres away.
There is a picnic area with toilets, small shelters and picnic tables. There are lots of walking trails in this area and they're well worth investigating if you're in the mood for a stroll.
