[DE] Eine kurze Wanderung durch ein kürzlich renoviertes Naturschutzgebiet.

[DE] Das Gebiet Schniderloch / Heuli erstreckt sich auf einer Länge von rund 400m entlang des Wildbachkanals und zeigt noch ansatzweise das Gesicht der alten Linthebene. Es enthält wertvolle Sumpfvegetaion mit Lebensräumen bedrohter Tiere und Pflanzen. Alte Baumbestände grenzen das Gebiet ein. Leider ist die Wasserfläche in den letzten Jahren stark geschrumpft, was den ökologischen Wert beträchtlich herabsetzt.
Projekt "Alte Linthläufe"
Pro Tuggen plant zusammen mit dem WWF Schwyz eine ökologische Aufwertung des Biotops. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Schaffung einer grossen Wasserfläche. Gleichzeitig sollen Lebensräume für verschiedenste Keinlebewesen geschaffen werden.
Gemeinsam wurde bereits ein Sponsorlauf organisiert, um Geld für die Realisierung des Projektes zu sammeln. Die Geldsammelaktion läuft immer noch. Die Kosten belaufen sich auf rund Fr. 600'000.–.
[EN] The area Schniderloch / Heuli extends over a length of approximately 400m along the old Linth stream channel. It contains valuable marsh vegetation with habitats of endangered animals and plants, including old trees.
Unfortunately, the water area in recent years has declined sharply, and therefore the ecological value decreases considerably.
Project "Alte Linthläufe"
Pro Tuggen, together with the WWF Schwyz is restoring this ecological habitat. The focus is on creating a large expanse of water and creating a variety of habitats for various creatures. Sponsors have been working together to raise money for the realization of the project. The fundraising campaign is still running. The costs amount to around CHF 600'000.
