Hallucination or Reality Mystery Cache
Krusen4Kache: With much regret, I'm archiving this great Night*Cacher night cache that we adopted when he moved to the south. Too much maintenance at the final and not enough regular visits to continually replace the perpetually soggy log. Went to check and the cache has now completely disappeared. The gnome has apparently moved along as well perhaps in the footsteps of the original CO. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocaching can be an amazing adventure! Last night, I was out grabbing the nearby cache when I saw a surprising thing. I caught a glimpse of a Gnome! Not the pointy hat Expedia guy, but a real gnome.
He was about 6” tall with a big nose, white beard, and pointy ears. His green tunic, brown shoes, and pointy green hat blended into the darkness well. However, I still managed to follow him. I spotted him running along the top of the fence, leaping from post to rail and from sign to sign. I could never quite catch him or get a really good view. He was so fast I didn’t even get a picture. I chased him through the neighborhood until he finally ran down a hole.
Backtracking to my car, I noticed he left shiny footprints on every metal object he stepped on. They show up if you shine a flashlight on them. Maybe if you come out here and follow his trail, you will see him too.
On your walk, please respect the neighborhood, keep the noise down, and try not to shine the flashlight in any windows.
