The cache is on a track that is a public right-of-way through woodland. Tree cover makes GPS reception a little erratic.
Wheelchair access is possible from Bethesda High Street but it is somewhat difficult due to roughness and muddiness of the track in places.
A variety of woodpecker that lives in these woods has abandoned trees and has developed very strong beaks and a peculiar taste to adapt to the environment.
You are looking for a cache-holder, about the size of a lipstick (that may have held salve for the birds’ aching beaks). It now holds a log sheet but no pen or pencil.
Please do not dismantle any of the walls. The closed gate leads to private property.
Congratulations to ECOBAKE for being FTF yet again - obviously back on form. I understand that Crazygrandma missed being FTF by just over half an hour!
