Silver Lake Regional Park is a little-known PWC park that opened
in October 2009. It offers a large lake, a picnic area, several
miles of trails, meadows, and forests. Due to its location and
relative lack of facilities and visitors, it really does feel like
the frontier of Northern Virginia. This cache provides an easy
(although sometimes muddy) walk and a nice view of the lake.
Permission for this cache was obtained from Anthony Meyers of
Prince William County Park Authority. Please follow all park rules
and do not hunt for the cache at night. Note that Silver Lake is a
trash-in-trash-out park.
Congratulations to Gaiter Man
for FTF!
