Urban Warfare Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hakliva: I think it is time to let this guy go and open up the area for another hide. I am sure someone can come up with something more creative.

Geocache Description:

Located in a park. No parking directly in front of park. Bring your own pencil! According to by-law 3219-82, the park is only to be used between 7AM and 11PM. As to not break any laws, and annoy any neighboring residents, please adhere to this. You are looking for a 35mm film canister. Please replace camo as well or better than when you found it. This cache is actually only really a 1.5 difficulty, however due to the amount of people that have issues with finding it I am upping the difficulty do that it is understood that this cache can be elusive... While we were scoping out this park for a hide, a kid was decked out it full tacticle gear, gun included playing war all by himself. While coming up with a name for this cache, he popped into our head and we came up with urban warfare. This cache has a history of not being found despite it being 'just' a film canister placed in the base of a Bush with some natural camo placed over it.... the story now gets a little more history... and a little more interesting.... This cache was placed way back in October of 2011. The original logbook lasted until September 2012 when u replaced it. July 1 2013 I was unable to find the cache and replaced it with a jazzed up logbook. June 2014-checked on the cache, in decent shape and lots of room in the logbook. October 2017- wet log, replaced with Rite in the rain logsheet in bag. April 2018- no maintenance required June 2018- I went, and could not find the black duct taped film canister. So this cache that seems to actually be THE ORIGINAL may be gone... however, this whole time... now get this... THIS WHOLE TIME that people have been unable to find the cache... there has actually been a second cache in place!!! The cache that I placed July 1 2013 is, and was still there this whole time! I found IT today instead of the black duct taped one... so now I'm not going to say that that one is actually gone... I will just say that it may or maynot be there at this point, so... let me know what cache you find... a film canister with a jazzed up logbook or a black duct taped film canister with a rite in the rain logsheet... with lots of signatures... LMAO! Beware of muggles Congrats to klblue on being the first to find!

All non-virtual geocaches must contain a logbook. If it must contain a logbook for you to sign, then you must sign said logbook. If your name is not in the logbook then you have not truly found the geocache. Bring something to mark in the logbook if you you would like to count the find.
