This cache was placed with our good friend Dixiedahling. We placed this cache in this park in honor of our first family cache that once was at this park. Please take your time in exploring the area. This is one of the oldest and largest parks in town. At one time there was a horse stable used by visors to the famous Elms Hotel. If you look close you can still see remnants of days gone by. For instance the all but gone horseshoe pits. There are three micro caches that will lead you to the regular sized coffee canister final hide. There is a Derrick Thomas lapel pin that was made in honor of his induction to the Hall of Fame for the FTF. Permission was granted for this hide. Please observe park hours. Happy Caching!
