Hadn't planned on placing a cache, but couldn't resist the location. Resorted to what was on us, so you'll be searching for a pill bottle at the base of a tree clump.
After gaining about 3,900' in 5 miles, you'll see the remains where an L-4 cabin once stood, built in 1934, abandoned 1965, and destroyed/removed 1968. From the location you can see Mount Stuart, Hawkins Mountain, Lemah Mountain and countless other peaks. The true summit is a short distance west with views of Mounts Daniel, Hinman, Rainier and Adams.
