Geocache Description:

*This cache is an Offset Cache and is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates!*

This cache is the first replacement cache for the Tenth Day of the 2008 Fort Walton Beach Twelve Days Of Christmas. There is a clue written inside the cache container. You will need this clue to solve the Bonus Puzzle Cache: Newton Tried It (GC1JQZH)

Quintessential: (kwin't?-sen'sh?l) adjective. -Representing the perfect example of a class or quality. This cache was originally representative of probably half of all micros. The first hide like this that a new Geocacher comes up against is usually very difficult for them to find. After that, geosense points to these locations as the place to look first if there are any of them anywhere near Ground Zero!

2020 Update: Time has taken its toll on the reflective stickers, and a number of them are now missing.  So this cache has morphed once again, into a different kind of non-quintessential micro!  It is now an Offset Cache.  You have to do a waypoint projection to find it!  To solve this puzzle, go to the posted coordinates, then travel 120 feet on a bearing of 280°.  Then it becomes the Quintessential Micro all over.

I have kept the original description below, for anyone who wishes to see if they can still work the challenge as a night cache.

Now, however, this is a night cache! How does that work? It's easy, you follow the reflective dots!

This cache has a twist, and here it is (aren't you glad you took the time to read the entire cache description?): At the cache coordinates you will find a light pole. This light pole has two small numbers (6 and 3, for example) and two small shapes (say a cross and an equals sign, for the sake of arguement) on it in two colors of reflective tape (let's pretend the 6 and cross are blue and the 3 and equals sign are green). From this point look around the parking lot with your flashlight and follow the shining shapes from pole to pole. As you go keep track of the blue crosses and green equals signs because when you have reached both the 6th blue cross AND the 3rd green equals sign, whichever comes LAST, you will be at hiding place of the cache.

If you are having trouble finding all the Days of Christmas to solve the puzzle for the Bonus cache, here's your chance to get a day for free!

Email or message me the answer to this question: What does TBS stand for? If you are right I'll send you the clue for the Day of your choice.

Incorrect Guesses:
The Batman Store
The Best Store (this one has been given out at least once by a store employee, but it is not correct)
