A quick drive by on State Highway 4 between Wanganui and Raetihi. There is a fence which has hundreds of shoes hanging on it. There is a slow lane on the downhill side of the road but the road is straight so park and if you need to cross take care and watch children.

Red and pink and blue shoes.

Pretty pointy-toe shoes,
Strappy, cappy low shoes;

BUT
Flat shoes, fat shoes,
Stump-along-like-that shoes,
Wipe-them-on-the-mat shoes,
That's the sort they'll buy.
Now is your chance to find some shoes you like. If you go up State highway 4 from Wanganui to Raetehi about half way up there is a fence with many shoes hanging up. The number grow weekly. There is a slow bay and room to park. The small cache is hidden in the toe of a shoe. Please replace securely so the cache doesn’t fall out.
