Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

End of the line...

...Addiscombe Railway Station. This was a terminus station situated opposite, on Lower Addiscombe Road.

...The station closed on 31st May 1997 and the site has subsequently been transformed into a housing estate.

...Feeling energetic? Take a short walk up East India Way and you come to Addiscombe Railway Park. This follows part of the old railway track up to Blackhorse Lane tram stop. Alternatively start your walk from Blackhorse Lane!
