Mendarva is a very small hamlet between Camborne and the North Coast. There are 2 ancient settlement remains in the area and the cache is placed outside the village.
There are several ways to get to this cache, which is on a bridle path, and the area can get quite muddy after rainfall.
NOTE: For parents and dog owners. Close to this section of the path the Red River is easily accessible and after rainfall will run fast.
Included are the nearest parking area co-ordinates for two small vehicles. This is under quite a lot of tree cover so GPS may show some inaccuracy. That said, the parking space can’t really be missed. From the parking area it is necessary to cross a small tributary of Red River on stepping stones to get onto the bridle path which is only a short distance from the parking area.(the tributary is only a few inches deep and a metre wide)
There is only room for the small log so please bring a pen or pencil with you.
