Geocache Description:

An easy roadside cache at another beautiful protected beach; Umdloti. The cache is a small plastic black canister similar to a 35mm film canister.

Umdloti beach is an official bathing beach with lifeguards on duty, it is a worthwhile visit just north of Umhlanga Rocks if you are looking to get away from the crowded Durban beaches.

At the cache site you will find three Screw Pine trees(Pandanus utilis)which appear commonly on our coast but originate from Madagascar, they provide interesting hiding places for caches.
