Geocaching without a GPSr is possible! This was our first find, no
GPSr used. ;)
We would study google earth and maps to get the general idea of
where to look and then go out and hunt around. It worked well for
caches with good coords and landmarks, but not in the forest or
older caches that weren't so accurate. :( For this cache I updated
the coords so that is should be more accurate and an easier find
for the beginner and even for those without GPSr and looking to get
started geocaching.
Same location as the old cache, but with adjusted coords.
This should be a super easy cache for everyone.
The kids will enjoy the playground that shares this parking lot.
Bring your dog and they will enjoy the dog park stocked with
obstacles and toys, even a watering station. Come at low tide and
watch the birds pick at bugs in the tidal mud flats. This area is
generally busy, but everyone should be successful with this
hide.
