Geocache Description:

Muller was a family owned business started by L. Fred Muller in 1900. He and his horse "Old Phillip" delivered milk to area homes. In 1947 Muller aquired Pinehurst farms. Pinehurst Farm's purebred herd of Guernsey cattle produced milk for the Pinehurst Farms milk plant. The two dairies continued to operate as separate companies until 1957 when they were merged to form the Muller-Pinehurst Dairy. The dairy is just east of here at Ogilby Rd. and Montague Rd. Dairy Farms bought out Muller Pinehurst in the early 1980's. Lowes eventually bought the old Pinehurst farm and bulldozed the home. This wall that you stand by is all that remains of the original farm.
