Trail 6 is a small traditional cache hidden along the Turnagain Arm Trail between the Rainbow and the McHugh Creek trailheads. The cache is also accesible from the Sunshine access point.
The closest parking area for this cache would be the Sunshine access point. Proceed up that trail to the Turnagain Arm Trail and then take a left turn and head toward the McHugh Creek parking area. You will find the cache just off the trail so beware of muggles.
Caching along the Turnagain Arm Trail can be challenging due to less than perfect gps reception. Those of you who have spent some time along the trail know what I mean! When you find yourself near GZ let it 'settle' and you will find the cache!
The cache is a watertight cell phone dry box that measures 6 in x 1-5/8 in x 3 in.
The original contents of the cache include Ben's insect repellant towelette, lense cleaning towelette's, antibaterial towelette, some ARR pins the cache log and a pencil.
There is also an unactivated Moose Cache Buddy trackable tag for the FTF.
Come visit this cache and the others in the area. You will not be disappointed with the views and the trail!!
