Geocache Description:

A challenging cache in Deep Creek Park. bring your geosenses and a Snickers. No bushwhacking required.

After a brush with death in the Loins Den, LEFT and RIGHT realized that for all of their years they had been together. They didn’t know what it was to be apart, so they discussed it and came to the conclusion that after being so near to death, they needed to live, to truly LIVE. It wasn’t without pain, however. They had travelled together for so very long that for a moment they stood there looking at each other, unsure of whether this was the best choice, unsure what the future held for themselves or the other. Finally, with nothing left to say and no reason to stay they parted. LEFT went West and South as that felt right, or like what RIGHT would’ve done. Right on the other hand, being the older and slightly larger of the two, hung back and watched over little LEFT for awhile just to ensure that he would be okay. LEFT wandered for awhile, taking in the sights like a Sailor on shore leave. The freedom, the enchantment didn’t last long. As the Sun started to set LEFT found himself chilled, lonely and yes… frightened. He searched high, and then low before settling on a location that would keep him protected on all sides, but with a clear view of the heavens… The stars had always meant so much to his buddy, his pal, his companion RIGHT. After LEFT found a place to call his own, and ensuring that he was going to make it, RIGHT threw his sack over his shoulder and bummed a ride southbound. He knew it was meant to be when he saw the gypsy catamaran flying an Ohio State Flag. Call it Fate, Kismet, Destiny or maybe it was coincidence. Either way, the last 20 miles of RIGHT’S journey was in the relative comfort of the motor yacht’s cockpit. RIGHT hung out with the catamarans crew for awhile. The process of going through the Lock was interesting, the first time. The prospect of another long wait was too much for RIGHT, so he decided to bail on the Sailors and jumped ship. He pulled himself out of the water and looked around. He leaned back to take a break, looked up at the stars and wished LEFT good night. He woke to realize that the spot he was in was absolutely perfect. This would be his new home. As LEFT grew to be more and more independent, he realized he needn't follow RIGHT's rules anymore. RIGHT was hardly ever right anyway. Come to think of it, RIGHT never writes anymore. LEFT put on his favorite songs, "Fight for your RIGHT to party", and "you may be RIGHT, I may be crazy." then he let down his hair and decided to crawl out from under that shell... Where he went, no one knows. He was gone for six days. The only thing he remembers from this period is some guy named Oscar, and an orange running suit. He awoke to a strange light... what were these people doing to him? Then he heard a voice say.."gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology..." he lost consciousness again. weeks later, or so it seemed, he awoke again. He felt different. Stronger, faster, better.... he looked down to find that he was indeed DIFFERENT... he thought to himself, RIGHT's got nothing on me now. No one, NO ONE would give me up NOW, for anything!! a big Low-Five to huffinpuff for FTF!!
