Someone once asked if I had an odd obsession with finding these places. I answered, "If you're implying strange, no. However, there is so much history laid out in front of us that we don't always notice. These offer us glimpses into the past, give us family stories in stone and make us think." With that said, take time to enjoy the glorious, peaceful view offered as well. Reflect and be thankful for those who have traveled ahead of us.
Planted with permission, please be respectful. Other residents are in attendance as well, there is evidence of the wild animal variety around the area.
Please do not encroach on the nearby neighbor's driveway, there is an entry road to the gate. It is located approximately 1/4 of a mile up Orin Rice Road from Highway 25, just east of the firestation. The road is marked, but not obviously, so you must be watching for it.
