Welcome to Historic Virginia Key Beach!
Please arrive between the hours of 8:00am to 9:00am in order to enter for free. Tell the guard you are a geocacher who is there to clean the park.
We will be assisting in the removal of invasive plant species as well as
trash removal. Long pants, long sleeves, hats, sunscreen, bug spray
and gloves are recommended. Also bring plenty of water.
Starting point is the Orange Pavilion. Here we will be given a brief history
lesson of this beautiful park. We will also be given instructions
about the clean-up.
We will be given use of the pavilion, so pack your food and drinks to enjoy after our hard work. And as always, bring your geocaching equipment!!!
