This is where that darn Kat goes to get the devil chased out of him. He is always on his best behavior when he is here.
The cash is a medium size pill bottle size that will accept small trackables and coins. Always good to have your own pen. The cash is located at the site of a beautiful outdoor grotto that was erected is 1943 by Italian prisoners of war who were interned here when this was the site of Camp Myles Standish. The main deployment point for the troops being sent to the war zone in Europe. The site also served as a POW camp for German as well as Italian captures. This outdoor altar/grotto has managed to survive all these years and the grounds are public property.Parking is readily available nearby. Local folks still treat the site with the utmost reverence so please also do so when visiting. Please do not disturb anything that someone may have placed as a worship item. Hope you enjoy being exposed to such a historical treasure and while in the area get yourself to Fremont street and when traveling about coordinates.
