In Memory of Officer Aubrey Hawkins - 1971 - 2000
Officer Hawkins made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the citizens of Irving. He was killed in the line of duty by a gang of escaped convicts at the scene of an armed robbery at an Irving business on Sunday, December 24, 2000. Officer Hawkins had been with the Irving Police Department for 15 months.
