NEW LOCATIONS - same great trails from 2009-2011. Welcome to the groomed cross country ski trails of Michaywe. Trails are designed for cross country skiing and snowshoeing (just keep off the tracks). Please no hiking on the groomed trails. Study the ski trail map at the “Related Web Page” above or visit the michaywe.com web site (click on living, then maps, then ski trails).
Suggested parking is at the Pines Golf Pro Shop at N 44 56.454, W 84 38.115. Feel free to donate a buck or two in the yellow donation box if you enjoyed the trails. This is a three stage multi that will take you around the lake. This is a family friendly ski trail and is approximately one mile in length.
All my winter caches were placed just off the trail, so follow the trail as it twist and turns. Don't worry what your gps says, just continue down the trail and you'll get there.
***IMPORTANT – You must use the trail system to claim credit as a find. Parking is available on streets that intersect with the trail or at the clubhouse. Our association dues pay for the grooming of these beautiful trails so you must ski or snowshoe to these caches – do not hike in. Please respect the trail rules and the intent of the winter cache series. Have fun, it’s about the adventure!
