Very close to Rt. 80 and Allamuchy State Park. This area has a lot of history relating to the Rutherford and Stuyvesant families, as well as Franklin Roosevelt. Please replace cache EXACTLY as found. Have fun!
I've wanted to deploy this container for quite some time, but couldn't come up with a good location until I heard about this road. The name, and the brick house at the base of the hill, initially brought to mind the tale of the Three Little Pigs and the rest just fell into place. The beautiful old chapel and house at the end of the road were part of the Rutherford estate. There used to be stone bridge across from it that washed away during Hurricane Irene. ***Congratulations to keithj999 for being the FTF!!!
