Bacchus was the Roman god of winemaking and wine (also known as Dionysus in Greek mythology). He was also the patron deity of agriculture and the theatre. Bacchus was a handsome young man with impressive hair (usually tresses falling below his shoulders) and a wreath of ivy on his head. In his hand he was holding a "thyrsus", which was a light staff wrapped with leaves of ivy and a pine cone on its top. Sacrifices to Bacchus included the goat and the swine, because both of these animals are destructive to the annual grape harvest - without grapes, there can be no wine.
The cache is located on a single track lane which takes you past the vineyard at Martletwy. There is a safe pull-in nearby. It is a 0.33L camouflaged screw top container, with FTF badge and room for some small swappables.
